Fastest help: email help@theclub.locker. A real person reads it, usually the same day.
On an iPhone, being a member happens in the app. Opening theclub.locker in Safari shows the landing page and points you to TestFlight.
Your roster saves as you build it, so leaving the screen loses nothing. It is not entered until you submit, and a half-finished roster counts as not picked.
Unpublish if you need to redo it, which closes picks while you work. Lock is permanent: nobody, including you, can change tiers afterwards.
The Club never touches money. It is a ledger for what you settle between yourselves however you already do.
A finished event is frozen the first time somebody opens the app afterwards, so past results never move if the pool later changes its settings.
Picks and scoring
By default at the first tee time of round one. Your commissioner can move it earlier, usually the night before, and the picks screen shows the deadline. It can never be later than the first tee time.
Only your commissioner can reopen picks, either for the whole pool or just for you. There is a button for it on their Picks tab.
Every golfer's score to par is added up and your pool counts the best few of them, however many it has set. Lowest total wins.
They keep the score they made over the first two rounds and take a penalty for each round they did not play. Your pool sets that penalty; the default is plus eight a round, so a cut costs plus sixteen. A withdrawal with no score at all forfeits all four rounds.
Each empty slot scores as if a golfer missed all four rounds, so a partial team cannot beat a full one.
Whoever guessed closest to the winner's actual score to par. If that is still level, the earlier submission wins.
Not before picks lock, deliberately. Once the deadline passes, every team is visible from the standings.
Live scoring
Roughly every two minutes during play, pushed to you without needing a refresh. You can also pull down on the leaderboard to force it.
Scores follow the official feed, which sometimes lags a hole or two behind television. It catches up on its own. If it is still wrong an hour later, tell your commissioner.
They almost certainly missed the cut, so the penalty is baked into the number. Open your team to see the raw score and the penalty separately.
Money
No. No money moves through the app at any point. It records who owes what and who has paid; you settle between yourselves however you already do.
Mark that you have sent it from the money section. Your commissioner sees the claim and confirms it, and that is what moves you to paid.
No. The Club is a recreational, skill-based app and is not a sportsbook or a daily fantasy operator. The money features are recordkeeping only. Anything members arrange privately is their own responsibility, including whether it is legal where they live.
Account and pools
Check spam first. The code is six digits and expires after a few minutes, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email. During the beta, sign-in works only for invited members; if your address is not recognised, ask whoever invited you which address they used.
Yes, as many as you like. Switch between them from the pool name at the top. Each pool keeps its own picks, standings, money and notifications, and the switcher marks the pools that need you.
Yes, on your Account page. It updates everywhere, in every pool.
They are scoped to the pool you are looking at, so you are not reading another league's business. The pool switcher puts a dot on any other pool that wants your attention.
Leaving a pool is on the pool page. Deleting your account is at the bottom of your Account page and takes effect immediately. If you run a pool that still has members, hand it to someone else first so their history survives. Details in our privacy policy.
